Towpath lies along the Thames between Shepperton and Walton-on-Thames, with the M25 just eight kilometres away via the A244. Popular routes include the A3 to London and local connections through Weybridge on the B374. The Thames Path National Trail passes directly through, forming part of the 184-mile route from source to Thames Barrier.
