Totardor sits on Skye's western peninsula, just off the A863 between Dunvegan and Sligachan. It's roughly 25km from Portree and serves as a quiet base for exploring nearby crofting villages like Bracadale and Struan. The settlement's name comes from "Tobar Doire" (well of the oak grove), and the original stone-lined well still provides water to local crofts today.
