Torridon

Scotland
Torridon lies beneath some of Scotland's most imposing peaks in the western Highlands, with ancient sandstone mountains rising directly from Upper Loch Torridon's shores. The A896 provides the main access via Kinlochewe, whilst the coastal route through Shieldaig offers equally spectacular approaches. The Victorian Torridon Hotel, complete with its original turret, has been welcoming visitors since 1887.
