Torphins is a small Deeside village on the A93, about 25 miles west of Aberdeen toward the Cairngorms. It's well-placed for exploring Royal Deeside's castles and walking routes, with decent EV charging options nearby. The village sits where Aberdeenshire's farmland meets the foothills, and you'll find the historic Red Beard's Well just outside the settlement.
