Tollbar End occupies Coventry's southeastern fringe where the city meets Warwickshire countryside. This residential district connects via the A45 to Birmingham westward and the M40 corridor southeast, whilst the nearby A46 provides routes to Leicester and Stratford-upon-Avon. Coventry Airport lies just minutes away. The area developed around a historic toll road junction, and remnants of the old gate system once controlled access between urban and rural routes.
