Tockwith lies in the Vale of York, about 12 miles west of the city and easily reached via the A59 from the A1(M). This North Yorkshire village sits among productive farmland between the Rivers Nidd and Ouse. Popular routes include the scenic drive west toward the Dales and quick trips to nearby York, Harrogate, or the market towns of Boroughbridge and Wetherby. The village houses Tockwith Motorsports Circuit, a quarter-mile drag strip operating since the 1960s.
