Tinahely is a small market town in County Wicklow, 80 kilometers south of Dublin, positioned where the mountains meet gentler countryside. The main route from Dublin takes the M11 to Gorey, then the R702 west through Bunclody. From the south, drivers use the N25 to New Ross before heading north on the R702. The R747 from Arklow provides a lovely 20-kilometer drive through Wicklow farmland. Electric vehicle charging is well covered along the Dublin-Wexford corridor, and several golf courses nearby offer mountain views. The weekly market still runs every Tuesday from the same square where cattle dealers have gathered for over two centuries.
