Timberscombe is a small Exmoor village tucked into the Somerset hills, about 8km inland from the A39 coastal route. Most visitors approach via Minehead or use the B3224 through Wheddon Cross, with the M5 Junction 25 being the main long-distance connection. The village sits surrounded by typical Exmoor terrain of wooded valleys and open moorland, with over 20 EV charging points scattered across the national park area. St. Petrock's Church houses a remarkable 13th-century rood screen with original painted saint panels.
