Ticknock perches in the Wicklow Mountains about 45 kilometres south of Dublin, reached via the M11 to Junction 13, then the R752 toward Rathdrum before winding up mountain roads. Many prefer the scenic R115 route from Enniskerry through Sally Gap. The elevated spot draws golfers heading to courses like Arklow Golf and European Club Golf, plus hikers after those commanding views over the Irish Sea. EV drivers will find about 30 fast chargers across Wicklow, though they're scarce up in the mountains. The granite peaks of Wicklow make for proper scenery on a clear day.
