Thursley is a Surrey village about 50km southwest of London, reached via the A3 then A287 towards Farnham. The heathland setting supports rare reptiles including sand lizards, and there are over 100 EV charging points in the wider area. Thursley Common remains one of southern England's most important lowland heath habitats.
