Thorpe End lies just east of Norwich along the A1042, about 6 kilometres from the city centre. The A47 dual carriageway provides the main connection to the wider region, with Norwich Airport conveniently located nearby to the south. The area has embraced electric vehicle infrastructure, with roughly 80 public fast charging points in the vicinity, and is home to one of Norfolk's few Thai herbal spas.
