Thomshill

Scotland
Thomshill lies in Moray's fertile farmland, 7km southwest of Elgin via the A96 trunk road. The village enjoys Scotland's driest climate thanks to the Cairngorms' rain shadow effect. Long-distance visitors arrive from Edinburgh or Glasgow on the A96, whilst locals use the B9010 for trips to Elgin and surrounding whisky villages. The old Great North of Scotland Railway route, now the Speyside Way footpath, passes directly through the village.
