Thockrington

England

England

Thockrington is a small Northumberland village about 30km west of Newcastle, reached via the A69 and minor roads near Chollerford. The A68 runs 8km east, whilst the B6318 follows Hadrian's Wall to the south. It's well-positioned for exploring nearby Roman sites, with approximately 30 EV charging points scattered around Hexham and the A69 corridor. The village sits close to Baths of Cilurnum at Chesters, where Roman cavalry soldiers' changing rooms remain virtually intact after nearly two millennia.
