Thingwall is a residential area on the Wirral Peninsula, reached via Junction 3 of the M53 motorway. The village sits between Heswall and Birkenhead, with the A552 providing the main access route. Liverpool John Lennon Airport is about 20 miles away via the M53 and M56. The name comes from Old Norse meaning "assembly field," marking where Vikings once held their local meetings.
