The Greens lies in East Dunbartonshire between Kirkintilloch and Lenzie, about 15km northeast of Glasgow via the A803. The M80 provides good access for longer journeys, whilst local roads connect to Cumbernauld and surrounding villages. Over 300 EV charging points serve the wider area. The name derives from old communal grazing lands.
