The Breck lies on Orkney's Mainland, about 8 kilometres southwest of Kirkwall via the A964. This quiet community sits between the island's central farmlands and western coast, accessible by local roads connecting to Orphir and Houton. The area offers a peaceful base for exploring Orkney's archaeological treasures, including the nearby Orphir Round Church, one of Scotland's few surviving medieval round churches from the 12th century.
