Termonfeckin is a small coastal village in County Louth, 8 kilometers north of Drogheda on the Irish Sea. The R166 coastal road connects it directly to Drogheda and continues north to Clogherhead, while the M1 from Dublin makes it about 50 kilometers from the capital. The village serves as a handy base for visiting Brú na Bóinne and offers good access to golf courses and Funtasia Waterpark in Drogheda. Named after "Tearmann Feichín" meaning Saint Feichín's sanctuary, it still has the ruins of a medieval church dedicated to the 7th-century saint.
