Terenure is a handy residential spot in Dublin's southern suburbs, sitting about 6 kilometers from the city center between Harold's Cross and the Dublin Mountains. Take the R137 south from Harold's Cross for the most direct route, or use Junction 12 off the M50 if you're coming from elsewhere. The area connects well to Dublin's bus network and has good access to local golf courses and city attractions. Terenure College, dating from 1860, is famous for producing top rugby players for the Irish national team.
