Temple Cloud lies in the countryside between Bristol and Bath, well-placed for exploring both the Mendips and Somerset Levels. The A37 provides the main connection to Bristol (15km) and continues south toward the A303, whilst the A367 from Bath links via Peasedown St John and Clutton. Local routes serve nearby villages like Cameley and High Littleton, with the M4 and M5 easily reached via Bristol. The village takes its name from the medieval Knights Templar, commemorated in The Templars Inn.
