Tatsfield perches on the North Downs in Surrey, just within the M25 and offering fine views across the Kent Weald. Most visitors arrive via Junction 6 of the M25, then follow the A22 and local roads through typical downs countryside. The A233 connects north to Biggin Hill and south to Westerham, whilst the A25 provides access from Oxted. The village green boasts The Old Ship pub, complete with its original 16th-century ship's figurehead still mounted above the entrance.
