Tang sits along the western shore of Lough Ree in County Westmeath, making it a handy spot for exploring one of Ireland's largest lakes. The N55 runs right through the settlement, about 10 kilometers north of Athlone and 120 kilometers from Dublin via the M4. There are around 30 EV charging stations in the broader area, mostly concentrated in Athlone. The small harbor gives you direct access to the Shannon navigation system and the lake's scattered islands.
