Syon lies in west London between the Thames and M4, centered on the historic Syon House and its 200-acre gardens. Take the A4 from central London (15km) or M4 Junction 2 from further afield. The Great Conservatory here is Britain's first heated greenhouse, still operating with its original 1820 cast-iron framework.
