Syderstone is a small Norfolk village about 10 miles from Hunstanton, reached via the A148 from King's Lynn or through Fakenham from Norwich. The surrounding countryside features typical Norfolk farmland with its network of quiet lanes connecting neighbouring villages like Tattersett and South Creake. The village centres on a traditional green dominated by an unusual octagonal Methodist chapel from 1878.
