Swavesey lies 15km northwest of Cambridge in the Cambridgeshire fens, reached via the A14 from junction 28. The B1050 connects to Over and surrounding villages, whilst the M11/A14 route from London takes about 90 minutes. With over 100 EV charging points nearby and Cambridge City Airport just minutes away, it's well-positioned for both local trips and longer journeys. The village's working 1821 windmill still grinds flour and welcomes climbers.
