Sutton Gault

Sutton Gault is a tiny fenland village beside the Old Bedford River, reached via the A1123 from either Huntingdon or the A14. The area sits well below sea level on reclaimed marshland, making it one of England's flattest landscapes. About 40 EV charging points serve the wider area, though advance planning helps in this remote location. The 17th-century Anchor Inn perches right on the riverbank, providing elevated views across the endless fens from its beer garden.
