Surrey Docks occupies the site of London's former timber docks in Rotherhithe, now a modern riverside district. Access via A200 Jamaica Road or A2 from Kent, with the Rotherhithe Tunnel connecting to Tower Bridge. The old Greenland Dock survives as London's largest freshwater dock, surrounded by contemporary housing where Scandinavian timber ships once berthed.
