Succoth sits where Loch Long meets the Highlands, perfectly placed for exploring Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. The A83 runs straight through, connecting to Tarbet and the A82 for Glasgow, whilst the famous Rest and Be Thankful viewpoint lies just up the road. The village's name comes from Hebrew meaning "shelters," harking back to the drovers' temporary camps once used here.
