Stubley lies just outside Rochdale in Greater Manchester's Pennine foothills, easily reached via the A58 from the town centre. Long-distance visitors typically use the M62 to Junction 20, then the A627(M) through Rochdale, whilst the A640 offers a scenic alternative from the south through Milnrow. The area has over 150 EV charging points nearby, mostly around Rochdale's retail parks. One local textile mill still demonstrates its Victorian steam looms every Tuesday morning.
