Strood forms part of the Medway Towns on the River Medway's western bank, connected to Rochester by the busy A2 bridge crossing. The A2 provides direct links to London and Canterbury, whilst the nearby M2 junction offers quick access to the motorway network. With over 150 fast EV chargers locally, it's well-equipped for electric vehicles. The town's medieval Temple Manor, built by the Knights Templar, once sheltered Canterbury pilgrims.
