Stretham lies in Cambridgeshire's fenland, 8km southwest of Ely cathedral city. Reach it via the A10 from Cambridge (20km) or A142 from Ely, then local roads through this drained marshland terrain. The village serves nearby settlements like Wilburton and Little Thetford, with over 100 EV charging points across the area. Stretham houses a working Victorian steam drainage engine, one of the last examples of the massive pumps that transformed these fens from swamp to farmland.
