Streat is a small South Downs village in East Sussex, reached via the A275 from Brighton (12km) or Lewes (8km). The B2116 offers a prettier route through rolling chalk downland. With over 350 EV chargers nearby and the South Downs Way passing through, it's popular with both day-trippers and walkers. The Norman church houses remarkable 13th-century wall paintings of Christ's life, uncovered during 1960s restoration work.
