Strachur is a small lochside village on the Cowal Peninsula, accessed via the A815 along Loch Fyne's western shore. Most visitors drive from Glasgow (90km) through the Rest and Be Thankful pass, though it's also reachable from Dunoon (25km north) or Inveraray (20km). The village has about 5 EV charging points and features an 18th-century church with an unusual external staircase leading to the laird's private gallery.
