Stoul occupies a remote spot in Scotland's western Highlands, where mountains plunge into the Atlantic. The A830 Road to the Isles provides the only access, winding 46 miles from Fort William through some of Scotland's most dramatic scenery. The West Highland Railway line passes directly through the settlement on its way to Mallaig.
