Stonehaven is a coastal town in Aberdeenshire, 15 miles south of Aberdeen on the A90. The historic fishing port sits where the Carron Water meets the North Sea, with dramatic clifftop views and the famous ruins of Dunnottar Castle perched on a rocky promontory just outside town.
