Stoneferry

Stoneferry forms part of Hull's northern suburbs along the River Hull in East Yorkshire. The A1033 Hedon Road provides the main route from Hull city center, whilst the M62 at Junction 38 connects to longer-distance traffic. Local routes include Stoneferry Road and Chamberlain Road serving nearby Summergangs and Sutton on Hull. The area takes its name from the historic ferry crossing that once operated here before bridges replaced it in the early 1900s.
