Stonecot forms part of Sutton's suburban sprawl in southwest London, easily reached via the A24 from central London or the A3 from Surrey. The area sits between Sutton North and Benhilton, with good bus links and nearby rail connections at Sutton stations. What makes it notable is its proximity to Nonsuch Park, site of Henry VIII's vanished palace demolished in the 1680s.
