Stoke Hill forms part of Exeter's northern suburbs, easily reached via the A377 from the city centre or Junction 29 of the M5. Most visitors combine it with trips to central Exeter or use it as a base for exploring Devon, with Dartmoor and the coast both within easy reach. The elevated position provides excellent views across the Exe Valley toward Dartmoor's distinctive granite tors.
