Staplehurst lies along the A229 in Kent's Weald, about 8 miles south of Maidstone. Most visitors take M20 Junction 8 then follow the A20 through Lenham, or drive directly down the A229 from Maidstone. The village connects south to Cranbrook and Hastings, with local routes reaching Headcorn and Marden. Electric vehicle drivers will find over 60 fast chargers in the area. The Victorian signal box at the railway station still controls the busy London to Hastings line.
