Spurstow is a small Cheshire village reached via the A51 south from Chester or through Tarporley from the A49. Most traffic consists of local journeys between nearby market towns, though the area attracts visitors exploring the Cheshire Plain. The village lies just one kilometre from Bunbury and offers access to Peckforton Castle, the striking Victorian fortress visible from the surrounding countryside.
