Sprytown lies along the A30 in west Devon, near the Cornwall border. The town serves as a useful stopping point on the main route to the Southwest Peninsula, with good access from both the M5 via Exeter and the A38 from Plymouth. Around 16 fast EV chargers support the busy tourist traffic. The 15th-century parish church contains a remarkably preserved medieval rood screen with painted saints.
