Soberton is a small Hampshire village about 15km north of Portsmouth, reached via country lanes from the A32 at Droxford. Most drivers use the A32 to connect with the M27 motorway system for longer journeys to London or the West Country. The village sits in typical South Downs countryside with its Norman church of St. Peter featuring a beautifully preserved 12th-century carved stone font.
