Snitter

Snitter is a small Northumberland village reached via the B6341 from Rothbury, 5km southeast. The A696 from Newcastle connects through Ponteland, whilst the A1 provides the main north-south route with exits at Morpeth or Alnwick. About 10 public EV chargers serve the area, mainly in Rothbury and along major roads. The 12th-century church of St. Mungo features a rare medieval Green Man carving in its chancel arch.
