Smerquoy

Smerquoy is a small settlement on Orkney's Mainland, five kilometres west of Kirkwall via the A965. The area sits amongst typical Orcadian farmland with stone walls dividing green pastures. With over 20 EV charging points across the islands and Kirkwall Airport nearby, it's well-connected for such a remote location. The settlement overlooks Scapa Flow, the historic naval anchorage where the German High Seas Fleet was scuttled in 1919.
