Smarden is a picturesque Kent village reached via the A274 between Maidstone and Tenterden, with the M20's Junction 8 providing motorway access. The surrounding countryside features typical Kentish hop gardens and farmland, whilst approximately 70 public fast chargers serve the area's growing number of electric vehicles. St. Michael's Church houses one of Kent's finest collections of medieval brasses, with over 20 memorials preserved in the floor.
