Small Dole is a West Sussex village on the A283 between Brighton and the Surrey border. Most visitors arrive from Brighton, about 15 kilometers southeast, whilst locals use the connecting roads to Henfield and the downland villages. The A283 links north to the A24 for London access. With over 350 fast EV chargers nearby, it's well-placed for electric vehicle journeys. The village's curious name comes from the Old English "dol," meaning a share of land.
