Slaithwaite

England

England

Slaithwaite is a former mill town in the Colne Valley, easily reached via the A62 from Huddersfield in 10 minutes or as part of the scenic trans-Pennine route to Manchester. The M62 provides motorway access via Junction 22, whilst local roads connect to Marsden and surrounding Pennine villages. The Huddersfield Narrow Canal runs through the town centre, complete with working locks that demonstrate the area's industrial heritage.
