Skilgate

Skilgate is a small Somerset village where the county borders Devon, positioned in the Exe valley near Exmoor National Park. The B3222 provides the main access, connecting to the A396 via Dulverton (8km south) for M5 links, or to the A361 via Bampton for North Devon routes. The village sits at a historic stone bridge crossing the River Exe, one of the few crossing points along this valley stretch.
