Skellister is a small Shetland settlement reached via the A970 from Lerwick, about 30 minutes north through rolling countryside. Local roads connect it to neighboring communities like Garth and Vassa within a few kilometres. The area has over 20 EV charging points and serves as a good base for exploring central Shetland. Traditional stone houses here are built low and sturdy to withstand the constant Atlantic winds.
