Simonburn is a small Northumberland village positioned along Hadrian's Wall country, about 30km west of Newcastle. Reach it via the A6079 from Corbridge or the B6318 Military Road, both connecting to the A69 trunk route. The village serves as a base for exploring nearby Chesters Roman Fort and the Baths of Cilurnum. St. Mungo's Church houses a medieval bell with original Latin inscriptions.
