Sildinis

Scotland
Sildinis lies on Lewis's eastern shore in the Outer Hebrides, reached via the A859 from Stornoway twenty kilometres northeast. The route continues south toward Harris, connecting scattered Lochs district communities through single-track roads. Most visitors ferry from Ullapool to Stornoway before driving down. Roughly eight public fast chargers serve the area, essential for electric vehicles in this remote location. The surrounding peat bogs still provide fuel for local crofters who cut turves each summer.
